On June 14th 2024 Das Kapitans are releasing their brand new album - ‘Das Kapitans’. This is the bands fourteenth album but for them it has a feeling of a debut release as it’s the first album to credit all three of the band members on songwriting and recording duties for all tracks.
Following on from their last album release in August 2022 ‘Das Kapitans’ has all the energy, frustration and head nodding from the previous efforts but this time with added layers, soundscapes, melodic moments, reflection and joyful sadness.
From the opening twisted feedback before the wall of noise Bleed kicks in through to the more poignant moments like Lonelimess Das Kapitans have drawn on the previous extensive back catalogue to create something familiar but totally new.
